Jade de Trey choreographs, improvises and performs solo dance.

She is also part of Methuselah Dance troupe which is a Comox Valley collective of improvisational dance artists.

Methuselah dancers co-create movements inspired by the beautiful human body, elements of nature, and social/political issues of interest.  The dancers in the group change over the Seasons and years.  We practice Improvisational dance together and bond and gain a group energy through this form of in-the-moment practicing.  We draw on this group cohesive energy when we decide to perform a piece.  It is not “hard”  to learn this form of dancing nor does it require a lot of technique or even necessarily dance experience but it takes people who are confident in their movement and/or body and willing to be open and vulnerable in themselves in the “sharing” of the dance on stage.  Sometimes we take new members so give us a call if you think you may want to participate in some way.  You never know!

Please Contact us if you would like us to perform at your event.
